Shadowstar | Blood[]
Shadowstar’s reign took place before the Lost Coast Clans forum was established, leaving his successor Shardstar as the first WaveClan leader in the roleplay timeline. In the beginning of his reign, he proved himself to be a stable and powerful leader. He had his Clan’s support for many of his actions, and he thought of what was in their best interest. He changed as time went on, however, and turned battle-hungry and bloodthirsty. Shadowstar wanted nothing more than to fight and kill, and his destructive urges grew until his deputy Shardtail usurped him and took over the leadership position. As a rogue, Shadowstar changed his name to Blood, and he was eventually killed when he tried to take WaveClan back by Jaggedstorm.

In the roleplay timeline, Shardstar was the first leader of WaveClan. He always put his Clan before himself, and he was a vigilant tom when it came to how he led it. He took in Jaggedstorm when he was a kit, raising him as his own, but never sharing the fact that he truly was his father with him. He gained his leadership when he led a revolution to force Shadowstar out of the Clan, and when a prophecy foretold of of the former leader’s return, he elected to face him alone — a decision which led to his death.

Jaggedstar[]
Jaggedstar became leader when Shardstar, his father, died fighting Blood, but he didn’t earn his nine lives until he had killed the former leader himself. He cared deeply about keeping his Clan happy and healthy, and he most certainly was an honorable leader who went to great lengths to protect every member of his Clan. Though, it could be said that the tom had quite a bit of a temper, and he wasn't one to put up with any cat messing around when it affected him personally or the well-being of the Clan. He led WaveClan through numerous battles, even if he was the cause of plenty of them — especially the ones early in his leadership career, due to his feud with a rogue tom called Barrett — and he stood as a strong leader throughout his reign. He lost his last life defending two of his granddaughters, Beachkit and Pouncekit, from an eagle when they escaped camp.

Grovestar[]
Grovestar is the current leader of WaveClan. She tends to be a bit awkward and quiet, and it takes her a while to open up to others before she can talk comfortably with them, but once she does she reveals herself to be a caring and motherly she-cat. She has trouble sharing her emotions and finds sharing her inner thoughts strange, but she does put in an effort to do so for those she is close to, and for Clan matters, as well, working to become a more approachable figure to the rest of her Clan. Though she does have a larger responsibility to the Clan now, it's obvious that her family still is and always will be a large part of her life, and she will happily take time out of her schedule to spend with her kits and their mates and her grandkits. She does carry some grief with her, though, as her first mate died before her kits were born and her second died in the plague that swept through all three Clans, shortly before she became deputy.
